Making a Bookmark ~ Tutorial

Making a simple bookmark in 3 Steps.

This is my Make a Bookmark in 3 Steps Tutorial.. most people dont need this tutorial by looking at my pre-made bookmarks, but its here incase you do. This is the bookmark I'll be using in the tutorial.. and thus we start~ But first, we obviously need to cut this thing out (cut only the very outside borders, dont cut off any triangles or rectangles).

Now to begin; We'll be needing to fold all the edges.. yes, all the edges. When your finished folding them all in (away from the front image), fold them back out again. Folding Tip: For clean edges without smears, fold your edge very lightly only touching, not rubbing it (This is to make sure you have the fold outlined). Now take a seperate piece of paper and place it over the fold. Now rub back and forth over the paper to make the fold nice and flat.

Now that all the folds are nice and flat, and all edges have been folded.. you'll need to fold a few things back in. Fold in the areas where the red highlights in the image on the left.

This is the last step, and the hardest for me to explain. Your going to want to fold in the longer side (the longer red line in the image on the left) while folding the triangles into the earlier folds (like folding in an envelope). This will make the bookmark more secure. The extra triangles on the image part are there to keep the top and bottom edges smooth (saving you from paper cuts ^^).
