A School Story
I’m gonna share a story
About a girl who fell desperately
For a guy who didn’t notice
That she fell unconditionally
It happened so long ago
That I’m not even sure when
I just remember saying he's cute
Perhaps that’s when it began
We started in the same program
Had every class the same
It’s funny cause I liked him
Before I knew his name
It took me two quarters to notice
Just how nervous I can get
When I’m around this guy
I stumble, look stupid, and forget
I’ve tried so many things
Just to get his attention
I’m just waiting for the day
To work up courage for a confession
We’re already half way through
This program that we’re in
My fear is that I’ll never tell him
Before this program ends
I’m scared of so many things
But I want him none the less
I just wish it were easier
For myself to confess
