Powers of Kirin - Being Written by Jennifer Rinehart
The Start of Powers of Kirin:
Hm, where shall I begin? I started writing Powers of Kirin because of my Comprehension and Reading course. My teacher assigned us a three page short-story, including four characters, with only one limitation: we could not kill the characters.
Of course when I was assigned the paper, I took everything seriously and created in depth details for my characters that were not necessary. So in order for me to feel that I utilized everything I imagined, I decided I'd continue with my little story.
It's gotten to the point where I really enjoy writing the story. I don't have any intention as of yet to publish anything, however I'm not ruling out that possibility if people really enjoy it.
The Characters:
The main character, Cerady, is more or less a reflection of the person I want to be or become. I decided to take it this way because it is easier for me to write in her perspective, than to write as a narrator.
The character Moirae is based off of my in-real life best friend, Jennifer. This is also reflective in the story where I try to make it clear that Cerady values Moirae's friendship higher than the other two girls.
The rest of the characters are just combinations of various personalities you would expect, or least expect, to see in a story.
The Character's Backgrounds:
If you have read chapters 0-4, you'll notice that I did not go into detail about any of the character's past. Yes, this was intentional.
To be honest, I had no intention of going into their past, but I decided that I will. I will title these chapters "Behind the Character" with a sub-title to match.
So far, the only "Behind the Character" story I have written, belongs to Cerady. The story is called Cerady's Melody, that is based upon her history of discovering her violin.
You'll be able to find/read short stories of their pasts in special chapters. I will place these special stories before the Chapters themselves in the Tables of Content list.
Deeper into the Story:
So far I have only written Chapters 0-4. If you think you are able to see where the story is going, I asure you, you do not. I have so many adventures planned, you haven't even cleared the story's introduction yet.
That is all I'll say, because I dont want to spoil what I'm planning next.
